From the westen:

• Drive from Vorarlberg to Tyrol over the Arlberg Pass or through the Arlberg Tunnel (S16) - Landeck - A12 motorway - Ötztal exit - B186 (35 km) to Sölden

From the north:

• Bad Tölz - Achenpass - B 181 - Jenbach - A12- Innsbruck - exit Ötztal - B186 (35 km)
• Pfronten - Reutte - Fern Pass - Imst - A 12 - exit Ötztal or B171 until Ötztal (without vignette)
• Garmisch Partenkirchen - Ehrwald - Lermoos - Fern Pass - Imst - A 12 - exit Ötztal or B 171 until Sölden/Ötztal (without vignette) - B186
• Garmisch Partenkirchen - Mittenwald - Scharnitz - Seefeld - Telfs - A12 - exit Ötztal or B 171 until Sölden/Ötztal (without vignette) - B186 (35 km).

From the east:

• From Munich or Salzburg on the A93 as far as Kufstein, then take the A12 via Innsbruck as far as Ötztal, and follow the B186 to Sölden.

From the south:

• Coming from Merano in South Tyrol over the Timmelsjoch to Sölden. High Alpine road at around 2,500 km, border crossing open from start of June to mid/end of October; toll road

Travel by train to the Ötztal train station and then continue to Sölden by bus or by taxi.

Winter Holidays in Sölden in the Ötztal

You can enjoy Sölden in all its glory during winter and have your holiday just the way you like it - with 148.3 km² of slopes, 39 modern lifts, thrilling toboggan runs and an illuminated ice rink, you cannot fail to find the right winter activity for you.

A short way away from our house is the start of the Giggijochbahn, which takes you to the ski area and via the “Golden Gate” to the Ötztal glaciers.

The ski bus stop is just 20 m away from the house. The buses run at 10-minute intervals and are free!!

Our membership of "Freizeit-Arena-inclusive" allows our guests to use the sauna and activity pool area in the “Freizeit Arena Sölden” leisure centre (even during winter) free of charge.
